When it comes to success, let’s just admit that sitting and waiting for it is not an option.
Also – doing everything without any principles (like you’re trying to find your destination in the dark) is not the best thing to do.
Well, at least, not if you want to improve yourself and your life fast.
Thankfully, there are a few fundamental principles – a few success habits you can adopt to help yourself strive for better, without walking in the dark.
Here are my favorite success habits I simply swear by!
They will help you to improve whatever you want in your life: your personality, your career, your relationships – anything that is important to you.
Let’s take a look at them.
6 Success Habits That Improve You Like Crazy
Success Habit#1: Focusing on quality in everything you do
The first and most important success habit that will definitely lead you to prosperity is focusing on the quality of everything.
Whatever you do, make sure you’re giving enough effort to call it quality work. It doesn’t have to be perfect – you and I are humans after all… But striving to create the best result is key.
Start with simple small tasks that you’re doing daily – like getting ready in the morning.
Give a little more effort to look flawless and you’ll see how much better you feel about your confidence.
Then focus on the bigger things, like managing your finances and doing whatever you can to do it really well.
One important thing that helps to create quality is gathering knowledge. The more information, tips, techniques, and advice you can get on a certain topic, the better you’ll perform on a related task.
For example, if you want to flaunt a sexy, yet neutral makeup look for work, you will definitely benefit from watching a few make-up tutorials about it and then practicing your skills.
Success Habit #2: Acting according to your strengths and weaknesses
Everyone has their own weaknesses and strengths.
Another success habit is to know what you’re strong and weak at and use this information accordingly.
For example, if you know you’re strong at creative work but weak in communication with others, it will be simply harder for you to work with people.
On the other hand, you’ll probably do well on any task or job that requires a bit of creativity.
Planning and adjusting your life according to your skill sets is just a logical way to make the most out of your talents.
Meanwhile, embrace your weaknesses as well and either improve them or make them work for you!
Success Habit#3: Making your wellness a priority
Success is useless if you don’t have enough health to enjoy it.
So whatever you do, make sure to take care of yourself and make your own wellness a priority.
Practice self care, relax and destress daily to keep a perfect balance and prevent burnout (which is very hard to recover from!).

Success Habit #4: Making plans
If you have an amazing idea or goal, don’t just go after it sporadically – make a plan!
Planning is the king of all success habits.
A good plan will help you in a multitude of ways:
- It will give you a process framework, so you will know what and when needs to be done.
- It will help you break down big tasks into smaller, achievable mini-tasks.
- It will help you see your progress.
- It will also make your goal official because once you start writing your idea down on paper, you are materializing that idea.
Call it a first step to making it real.

Success Habit #5: Single-tasking
Sure, multitasking works well with simple tasks like cleaning your home.
It makes perfect sense to wash your laundry while you’re doing dishes, for example.
But when you’re working on something really important, multitasking will just prevent you from practicing the success habit number 1 – focusing on the best quality you can create.
The same thing with your goals – if you’re trying to achieve too many goals at once, you will most likely fail at some of them and be disappointed.
Instead of multitasking, focus on that 1 single thing you can or are doing at the moment – and make it quality work.
Success Habit #6: Working smarter, not harder
Yes, success needs a lot of work.
Nothing great can be achieved without a single bit of effort.
It’s true that goals, dreams, achievement, and success are a direct byproduct of your willingness to work for what you want.
But here’s the thing – work doesn’t have to be hard.
By working smarter, you can help yourself achieve the same amount of work with less time and energy.
Here are a few ways you can work smarter instead of harder:
- Use productivity tools & habit tracking apps.
- Make to-do lists before any task you start.
- Limit the number of distractions around you.
- Take breaks.
- Automate anything that can be automated.
- Gather as much knowledge and information before starting.
