“Hi everyone, my name is Amber, and I’m a workaholic.”
… Yeah, I think that’s how it would sound in Workaholics Anonymous meetings.
Do they even exist?
I don’t know… I hope that I don’t need an intervention yet.
If you asked me what it’s like to be a workaholic, I would say that it’s both a blessing and a curse.
Sure, I can sit down and do huge amounts of work because I kinda get high on it, but I also tend to regularly drive myself to burnout, and I’m rarely satisfied with my results.
I don’t think it’s healthy.
Or cool.
However, even workaholics lose motivation sometimes.
It is a VERY human thing to do and if you ever feel mad for not being motivated, you should do these things:
- Stop doing that because it’s nuts;
- Drink a big glass of water because you’re probably dehydrated.
And sometimes, when you have zero motivation, reading a few motivational quotes can help too.
So I gathered a list of my favorite motivational quotes for you – check them out below!
