We’ve all had one of those mornings.

You know what I’m talking about, don’t you?

The type of mornings where you wake up and struggle just to get out of your bed.

Where you’re still tired even though you slept 7, 8 or even 9 hours.

Where there’s a thick fog of depression hanging over your head… And you’ve got no idea how you’re going to motivate yourself to get through the day.

If you know what I’m talking about – don’t worry, because it doesn’t have to be this way.

Realize that it’s all inside of your head.

It’s not that you can’t beat depression or are unmotivated or whatever… It’s just that you feel that way right now.

And how you feel right now can always change.

You don’t have to identify or associate with this feeling.

You can change it.

What you also have to realize is that motivation is a habit.

Believe me, no one wakes up feeling motivated.

It’s something that you have to train yourself to feel.

Every single day.

Here’s how to motivate yourself to be brave, courageous, and confident even if your day will probably suck.

How To Motivate Yourself Every Morning, No Matter What’s Waiting Ahead

1. Don’t Stay In Your Bed

First, when your alarm clock goes off, get out of bed immediately. Don’t hit snooze, don’t turn it off.

Get out of bed right away and start your day.

Don’t get into the habit of lying in bed and ruminating on all the bad things in your life.

Or how horrible your day is going to be.

Don’t let bad things creep in and ruin your mood.

Just get out of bed and start your day.

Life is about momentum.

You need to build positive momentum in the right direction.

So, get started by immediately getting out of bed.

2. Boost Endorphins In Your Body

If you ask successful people how to motivate themselves in the morning, many of them will mention exercising.

So, make it a habit to exercise every morning right after you wake up. I know you don’t want to even think about it right now… But the truth is that, to get out of any brain fog, you have to move.

You need to get out of the house and into the fresh air and get those endorphins flowing through your body.

So go for a walk or to the gym. Even a yoga class or at-home workout with a Youtube video can work wonders on your mood and motivation.

3. Rebalance Yourself

Once you’ve worked out, meditate. Meditation works wonders for your brain and body.

It can get you into an entirely different state of mind, destroy your anxiety, and move you into a place where you’re ready to take on the world.

Through meditation, you can even find your own answer on how to get motivated because there’s always something that triggers that motivation in you… You just need to find out what it is.

4. Nourish Yourself

Then, eat a great healthy breakfast. Too many of us skip this important part of our day and get something unhealthy on the way to work.

But the fact is, if you’re eating breakfast at McDonald’s every day, then it’s no wonder why you’re unmotivated.

Take the time to wake up early and make yourself a healthy, nutritious, and awesome breakfast that your body deserves.

Something that’s going to make you feel great and set your body up for success.

5. Review Your Goals

Next, review your plans and goals. Everyone should have short, medium, and long-term goals.

Review these goals and see how far you’ve progressed.

Feel good about your progress or be self-compassionate if you need to start again.

There’s NOTHING wrong with starting again!

Motivate yourself by imagining how great life will be once you’ve reached these goals.

6. Review Your Day

Finally, review what you have to do that day. What are your goals and objectives for this day?

Imagine yourself achieving these goals and how great you’re going to feel when they’re done.

Or how badly you’ll feel if you fail at them.

Imagination is extremely powerful and free to use!

So imagine how good you’re going to feel once you’ve taken care of whatever it is you had to do, especially if it’s something challenging. Keep a positive mindset and tell yourself that you’re going to crush it no matter what.

Doing your best is always enough, no matter the outcome.

If you’ve done all these things then you should be feeling pretty good by now.

How To Motivate Yourself In The Morning – The Final Piece Of Advice…

… Do the hardest things first.

Get your hardest task over and done with as soon as you can.

That way your day goes downhill, instead of uphill.

And remember this: The truth is that there’s no such thing as a bad day.

The idea of good and bad days is all inside your head.

And it’s up to you to work at making sure your days are always good, no matter what happens.
