Flying Dollars As An Inspiration To Make More Money

Now more than ever, people are looking for ways to generate more income.

Whether they are looking for a higher-paying job or a side gig, it’s clear that most of us are ready to put in a little extra legwork these days.

Part of this movement has certainly been inspired by all of the money-making opportunities on the internet – so much so, that many people have been able to turn their internet side hustles into full-time careers.

So, you’re feeling motivated to make more money – but where do you start?

Here are some ideas that will inspire you to hit the ground running.

How to Make More Money than You Do Now

Capitalize on your talents.

Maybe you have a thing for roasting coffee or brewing craft beer; maybe you’re great at upcycling old furniture.

Do you have a TEFL certificate waiting to be used?

Perhaps people tell you that you have a “radio-friendly” voice and should start recording commercials.

Whatever the case may be, everyone has some kind of talent that they can tap into if they’re looking to make more money.

There are hundreds of online marketplaces for you to utilize depending on what you’re looking to do.

For example, if you’re selling tangible items such as crafts or vintage clothes, a site like Etsy may be a good fit for you.

If you’d like to sell coaching lessons, voiceovers, or other service-based gigs, you may want to check out freelance sites like Fiverr or Upwork. Besides, if you’re an online coach, you could use some coaching apps that will help you capitalize on your talents and help you concentrate on value-adding tasks.

Throw on your professional attire.

There have been hundreds of studies done on the correlation between dressing well and showing stronger performance in the workplace.

These studies have even shown that you’re more likely to negotiate a better business deal if you’re dressed for the part.

Even if you’re currently working remotely, try getting fully ready every day.

You’ll feel more put-together, and as a result, sharper and more productive.

So, if you’re ready to land that big interview, new business deal, or promotion, skip the fuzzy cardigan and break out that blazer.

Enter the gig economy.

What is the gig economy, you may ask?

It’s a system where you earn money by completing one-time work.

A “gig” is a job that doesn’t last long or doesn’t take a long time to complete.

For example, food delivery services such as GrubHub and DoorDash are gig economy-based jobs.

The same goes for ridesharing services such as Lyft.

Once you complete your delivery or ride, the job is done, and you can move on to the next job.

These are excellent options for people who are looking to earn more money on their schedule.

Bored on a Friday night?

Spend a few hours driving people to and from the bars, and watch those tips flow into your bank account.

Don’t feel like you’re limited to food delivery or Ubering; you can find gig-based work in childcare, shopping, pet-sitting, and more.

If you don’t like leaving your house, you can also find gig-economy-based, money-making apps online.

They offer money for different tasks like doing online surveys, tutoring, transcribing speech, watching ads, testing apps, playing games, etc.

You should check out a recently launched DeFi workforce platform JumpTask – they are in partnership with passive income app Honeygain and they are planning on releasing a new module of earning very soon!

Earn some online certificates.

It’s becoming easier than ever to land jobs in IT, web design, digital marketing, and more – without a college degree.

While that is another topic in itself, the beauty of the internet is that you can find a ton of credible, online certificates for free (or for a very low price when compared to a college class).

Keep an eye on certificates that companies like Google will provide soon.

You’ll be able to study specialized skills in data analysis, project management, UX design, and much more.

Plus, Google already offers a ton of free classes online for digital marketing, career development, and tech that you can complete in as little as one hour.

Adding certificates to your resume increases your credibility as well as your self-confidence.

Get out there and network.

Sure, it’s a bit harder to put yourself out there in 2020, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be done.

A rich network will allow for more opportunities, whether you’re looking to land a better job or seeking potential clients for your side hustle.

LinkedIn is a powerful resource for reaching out to recruiters and like-minded people in your field, and there are plenty of special-interest groups that you can join on the platform for free. Virtual networking events have also become quite popular in 2020, and you can scrounge sites like Eventbrite to find one that seems like a good fit for you.

If you’re truly trying to make more money long-term, networking is one of the most reliable ways to get there.

We’re not going to sit here and tell you that you can get rich quickly.

Most of these strategies are going to take some time and effort to build upon, but you’ll find yourself that it’s possible to make more money in a meaningful way.

Keep researching until you feel fairly confident that you have a solid plan that makes sense with your current schedule and responsibilities.

Now go out there and boss up your life.
