I believe personal growth is not only a choice – it’s a lifestyle.

I’ve been living it for the past 5 years and reaped amazing benefits on my journey.

I want to share them today and inspire you to achieve that radical mindset change that happened to me.

I promise – adopting a personal growth mindset is not hard.

In fact – it’s really fun!

And more important – it’s incredibly useful if you want to change your mindset once and for all.

A MISSION TO CHANGE YOUR MINDSET?

POSSIBLE!

There’s Always a Reason To Change

A decision to “change & finally improve myself” was something I did about five years ago.

It inspired actions that helped me restart my life and reinvent myself, even though everything was SO MESSY.

I was always an anxious, unmotivated, and even a depressed young girl who was just trying to do everything right – but never achieving anything because my motivation well was almost empty.

I was suffocated by constant problems happening in my life and ultimately, they caused me to be apathetic and lethargic. I just didn’t know where to begin and how to cope.

Everything seemed so difficult,  tiring, and frightening… Living in an anxious and unmotivated mood was my everyday thing.

Does that seem similar to what you’re in now?

If so, I want to ensure you that it can be changed!

So it all changed for me when I finally understood that I don’t want to be miserable my whole life.

I decided to stop the self-pity game.

I started learning about personal growth, taking the first steps to clean up my negative mindset, reframing those anxious thoughts, planning for changes, and finally doing something.

You can read more about it here: How to beat negative thoughts and restart yourself

Once I started changing my thoughts and working on myself, small changes & techniques led me to less anxiety, braver thoughts, bigger goals, wider smiles, and my whole life started improving.

I found a passion for personal growth very quickly because it gave me hope that things can change – if only I put in at least a little effort. If only I start my growth story.

Why Would You Want To Change Your Mindset

Do you feel tired and lethargic?

Do you try to change yourself, only to find yourself doing the same unproductive and meaningless things again?

Do you feel suffocated by all those responsibilities and problems you have to take care of?

Are you tired of being frozen and staying the same, even though you really want to change your mindset and your life?

This is great because it means you can do the same things I did to change your mindset and the way things are – even if you are tired, unmotivated, anxious and overwhelmed.

If I did it, you can do it too – it’s not like I’m some kind of superhero.

I’m just a girl who decided to do it.

It takes a few changes in your life to become a real personal growth addict but once the first seed is sown, things start to take care of themselves pretty rapidly.

But it doesn’t end with the mindset.

There are more benefits and I will tell you all about them!

How To Change Your Mindset Using Personal Growth

“But what exactly is personal growth?..”

Personal growth is striving to be better, daily, in a smart way.

It means actions that improve your mind, body & soul – in the healthiest way possible:

  • Growing your knowledge.
  • Choosing high-quality information.
  • Keeping negative thoughts tamed.
  • Soothing yourself with daily self care.
  • Setting achievable goals.
  • Controlling your emotions.

Also, doing it slowly enough so that you don’t shock yourself.

With this lifestyle, you choose to do something self-enhancing every day. This can be:

  • Reading self-help books, e-books, and articles on the internet.
  • Planning, organizing & tracking your life.
  • Practicing self-care activities.
  • Watching TV shows that are adding to your knowledge.
  •  Learning to be anxiety and fear-free.
  • Choosing high-quality products whenever possible.

How Does Personal Growth Change Your Mindset?

Once you decide to change your life and yourself, things are starting to get better.

It doesn’t happen overnight (although, it’s entirely possible if you are determined) but again – once the seed is sown, once you make that crucial decision to go upwards in your life, amazing things start to happen.

1. You procrastinate less

Being lazy is impossible to avoid completely.

And honestly, everyone needs a little bit of slacking here and there.

However, being lazy and procrastinating too often means your stagnating in the same place.

For some people, it can be years wasted in their life.

To me, being lazy was a higher level of self-destruction.

While some people procrastinate because they would rather do something fun and pleasant, to me this laziness didn’t even feel good.

I felt awful because I knew I’m spiraling down every single day I decide to ignore my life, the problems I’m in, and the responsibilities I need to take care of.

By being lazy, I was torturing myself and roasting myself with negative self-talk, which didn’t motivate me to change too.

But when you adapt to a growth mindset, you start shaping your actions because you are burning with the desire to change – and you finally know how.

You gain a strong motivation to do something useful instead of wasting your time.

Here are a few examples:

Instead of watching a mindless TV show, you choose interesting documentaries.

Instead of browsing social media, you read great self-improvement blogs that give you value.

Instead of buying a gazillionth lipstick, you don’t even need, you buy an online course and learn absolutely anything you want.

Inspiring Quote About Mindset Change

This is the first thing that happened to me, and it was a complete game-changer.

2. You start waiting for tomorrow

Sometimes we encounter a day (or maybe a month) when you just don’t want tomorrow to come.

It may be that things suck at the moment.

Maybe there’s too much to do.

Or maybe you’re just tired from all that work drama.

I’ve been there many times and I know how demotivating that feels.

I used to get panic attacks every Sunday evening just because I knew Monday is coming.

How sad is that… I was afraid to live my life.

If you’re in the same situation right now, you keep that chin up!

Things can be changed quite quickly if you start taking even the smallest, teeny tiny action to change the way you see things.

I will give you an exact plan on how to start taking those tiny actions, but you can start dissolving your anxiety right away with my Anxiety Management bundle and the Thought Workbook.

These are the printable tools I designed based on the things I learned about Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), which helped my mindset immensely.

I use them every single time I feel anxious (I’m not a robot, things still get rough sometimes..) and it helps me.

Every time.

Once you take care of your scaries, you can start deciding on your goals.

And when you start acting towards your goals, sooner or later you start seeing your first results.

They motivate you to move forward.

And the more you move, the bigger the results!

The feeling of achievement keeps you excited and hyped for the next day.

Sometimes you really fall in love with the process – so much that you find new hobbies.

These are rare and never hurt!

3. You feel safer, stronger & in control

Since you start being more active with the personal growth mindset, you start to feel a new urge to achieve your goals.

Naturally, you want to get your life in order, because a growth lifestyle creates a healthy craving for an organized life and a cleaner environment.

So you start caring for your surroundings.

You invest in your future and do things that enhance and protect it:

  • You start planning so you know what & when you need to do + never miss anything important again.
  • You take care of your health, so you don’t get sick so often.
  • You secure and insure your home because you finally understand the importance of it.
  • You start tracking your finances, so you know exactly where you spend your income.

It doesn’t mean you need to start organizing everything at once.

Personal growth as a lifestyle should be enjoyed and never rushed.

Otherwise, it’s just a marathon.

But even if there’s a lot you need to take care of, it doesn’t have to take long!

The fun thing with a personal growth lifestyle is that if you organize one part of your life, the next one will be easier.

Here’s an example:

  1. There’s a lot you have to do so you write down a task list.

Nice! You now know everything you need to do.

  2. Then you plan your daily or weekly schedule.

You reclaimed control of your time.

  3. Since you control your time, you can insert healthy habits in your routine, like writing in an Anxiety journal.

You just included some self care. And any self care will give you more energy to do other tasks faster.

Inspiring Quote About Changed Mindset

Start Living a Personal Growth Lifestyle

Do you want to reap all those amazing benefits, just like I did (and still do)?

Do you want to change your mindset and become the best version of yourself?

Are you ready to spend your time doing things that are helpful, improving, and positive?

Here’s how you can start your own personal growth story – and change your mindset on the way!

The most important thing is your THOUGHTS. Have you been angry with yourself all this time?

Hating yourself for not being perfect is unproductive.

STOP IT.

1. Forgive yourself for your past. Admit your mistakes. Accept your weaknesses

Or even better: Turn your weaknesses into strengths.

If you want to change your life, you have to start with a clean slate.

You need to wipe all the negativity out of your head and start supporting yourself like never before.

You have to become your own best supporter and start loving yourself the way you are right now.

Yes, great things are coming to you, but you have to start loving yourself now so it can be your reason to do it.

Please let that sink in.

You need to love yourself now because it will give you an intention to do things for yourself. Not for anyone else, but for you first.

Not because anyone expects it from you, but because you love yourself and you deserve it.

Once you can shape your acts and decisions for yourself, you will also find enough energy to change for others too.

2. Deal with negative thoughts and decide to be better. Not perfect – just better

Once you decide to love yourself, choose to work on becoming better every day.

3. Make a deal with yourself to do at least one self-improvement thing a day

Starting a personal growth lifestyle doesn’t mean you will have to quit your job and live in the library reading books.

Life will still be happening, and you might even find yourself a little demotivated by everyday chores and routines.

That’s fine.

All you have to do is to make a deal with yourself that you are going to do a single self improvement act every day.

It can be reading, journaling for 15 minutes, doing mindfulness meditation, planning your day – anything that is positive and productive.

You can use my printable habit tracker or challenge calendar to keep yourself accounted for!

4. Decide what you want from your life. Don’t be afraid to dream BIG

Who told you to have small dreams?!

If I didn’t have big dreams, you wouldn’t be reading this article because this blog wouldn’t even exist.

Have big dreams and don’t be afraid of them.

It doesn’t matter if you are living in a small country, if you don’t have enough money or if you are just starting to feel adult enough to do something with your life (it’s ok to be a late bloomer!).

Dreaming big will help you get yourself in the mood of an achiever who doesn’t stop until the dream comes true.

5. Then set your goals and plan to achieve them

To keep moving toward your dream, you have to set actionable goals for yourself.

Here’s a complete explanation I wrote on how to set your goals if it makes you anxious and the 4 mistakes to avoid when setting your goals.

To make goal setting simple and uncomplicated, I designed a simple goal planner that I use myself whenever I sit down to set, plan or review my goals.

I really recommend starting with a simple and uncomplicated goal planner because there are a lot of extensive goal planners right now but they are just too overwhelming.

Keep things simple to avoid this overwhelm in your mind!

6. Start organizing and planning your life

You need to start regaining control of your life by planning your time, tracking your to-do lists, and doing the things that need to be done.

I promise it doesn’t have to be hard or overwhelming.

Remember how I talked about the need for being your own best supporter?

This applies here too.

Even if things seem overwhelming, even if there’s so much to do, you can go through anything if you keep a supportive mindset.

That’s the core.

Then, you need to find things that can help you do everything easier, and, yes, I have a ton of resources that will help you start planning and organizing, yay!

If it seems overwhelming – don’t panic.

Take it slow, you don’t have to absorb a ton of information if you don’t want to.

You can simply add a habit to your daily routine to come to this blog and read an article a day.

7. Improve your mental health & stability

While working on those goals, plans and routines, don’t forget to take care of yourself.

Try to add some self care to your everyday routines and always work on your mental health, thoughts, and self-talk.

These resources can help you a lot:

8. Keep looking for things that add value to your life

Once you get your personal growth story going, don’t stop looking for things that can add more value to your life.

Be a GROWER.

Believe in GOOD OUTCOMES.

Be curious and never stop learning.

This life is a curve, and if you decide to keep that curve going upwards then it doesn’t matter even if you go down a little – you will always find a way up.

Because that is your new focus.

Your GROWTH MINDSET.
